Sliding bearings are mainly made of plastic bearings. Plastic bearings are generally made of engineering plastics with better performance. More professional manufacturers generally have self-lubricating technology for engineering plastics, through fibers, special lubricants, glass beads, etc. The engineering plastics are self-lubricating and reinforced to achieve certain performance, and then processed into self-lubricating plastic bearings by injection molding with modified plastics.

The sliding bearing is generally made of carbon steel plate as the substrate. The spherical copper powder is first sintered on the steel plate by sintering technology, and then a layer of PTFE lubricant of about 0.03 mm is sintered on the copper powder layer, wherein the middle layer of spherical copper powder is used. The main function is to strengthen the bonding strength between the steel plate and PTFE, and of course, it also plays a certain role in bearing and lubrication.

The limit of the sliding bearing contact angle is 120°. When the sliding bearing wears to this contact angle, liquid lubrication is destroyed. Therefore, under the premise of not affecting the pressure condition of the sliding bearing, the smaller the contact angle, the better. From the theoretical analysis of the frictional force distance, when the contact angle is 60°, the friction torque is the smallest. Therefore, it is recommended that for a sliding bearing with a rotational speed higher than 500r/min, the contact angle is 60°, and the sliding bearing with a rotational speed lower than 500r/min is used. The contact angle can be 90° or 60°
