Radial spherical plain bearings: The radial contact bearing (GE type) has a nominal contact angle of 0 degrees and is suitable for bearing radial loads and small axial loads.
Angular contact spherical plain bearings: angular contact joint bearings (GAC type) and angular contact radial joint bearings and angular contact thrust joint bearings:
(1) Angular contact radial spherical plain bearings: The angular contact radial spherical plain bearings have a nominal contact angle greater than 0 degrees but less than or equal to 30 degrees, and are suitable for combined loads that are subjected to both radial and axial loads.
(2) Angular contact thrust joint bearing: The angular contact thrust joint bearing has a nominal contact angle greater than 30 degrees and less than 90 degrees. It is suitable for bearing axial loads and can also withstand combined loads, but its radial load must not be greater than axial load. The 0.5x thrust thrust bearing (GX) has a nominal contact angle of 90 degrees and is suitable for axial loads and cannot withstand radial loads.
Rod End Joint Bearings: Rod end joint bearings are designed to withstand axial loads with less radial loads (typically less than or equal to 0.2 times radial load).
Note: The joint bearing is lubricated and self-lubricating.
